The film advertisement on real eggs and the Record of Ukraine for cracking Easter eggs
On April 25th, the comedy «Easter Egg» (“Krashanka”) premiered in the theaters. The film follows the Zabyaks family as they come together for Easter after a long time apart. However, the father isn’t feeling festive – he’s determined to end the war by launching a missile at Moscow, leaving only Putin’s ashes behind.
To boost the film’s promotion and capture audience attention, the Brandly agency teamed up with partners to create something special! It all began with the idea of branding eggs from the «Yasensvit» TM with the film’s title. This gave rise to the limited edition of eggs called «FILM KRAHSANKA.»
Next, the initiative was embraced by the EKO MARKET store chain, which organized the «Easter Egg Hunt» activation. The retailer hid «Krahsanka» eggs in its stores with gifts for every visitor who made a purchase of a certain amount.
And what Easter celebration would be complete without an egg battle? On April 27th, over a hundred Kyiv residents took part in a traditional Ukrainian Easter game where participants tap their eggs against each other. People of all ages joined in, because traditions unite everyone regardless of age or social status.
Results: 3,611,969.70 UAH box office revenue and 24,368 tickets sold. A record of Ukraine was set for «Mass Events» – 110 eggs were cracked simultaneously! For the first time, a limited series of eggs branded with the film’s title was released. The overall media coverage of the campaign reached over 5,000,000 contacts without any paid media involvement.
