RESEX communication platform
Patsany Agency creative agency has developed the name, brand line, and identity that form the basis of RESEX communication platform addressing the return to sexual life after combat injuries. This campaign was created in collaboration with the organization «Veteran Hub» to draw attention to the topic of sexuality in a military environment, especially among veterans who may have injuries and amputations.
The name of the future platform was meant to manifest the main theme of the campaign – the return to sexual life and its core message: no matter the type of injury, everyone can explore, feel, and enjoy sex. The agency encapsulated all these sentiments in the succinct yet meaningful name – RESEX.
The message was also intended to be clear and comprehensible. Thus, the brand line «About sexual life for warriors who have suffered injuries» was born.
Patsany’s identity aimed to visually bring out the underlying sentiments of the platform. They wanted to make it bold, vivid, and far from the stereotypical perception of sex and military themes.
The flagship colors of the identity became shades of khaki, which resonate with the main audience of the platform, as well as pink and purple colors, adding sensitivity to the communication. At the core of the visual style are colorful abstract elements that overlay, changing positions each time to form various shapes.
The identity serves as the visual foundation for both the platform and the advertising campaign, as well as for two guides that the Veteran Hub team worked on.
The name, brand line, and identity form the basis of the communication platform. On the subdomain of Veteran Hub, we created a page for an educational campaign. The website contains valuable information about sexual life for veterans with injuries and amputations, along with articles on the topic.
Also, on the RESEX platform, two guides for men and women are freely accessible. They help in re-establishing the relationship with one’s body and transforming injuries into a new sexual experience. Patsany created a series of colorful abstract illustrations that make the reading experience more sensitive. They also carefully crafted verbal and visual messages to ensure that reading and viewing images are not only interesting but also convenient.
The campaign came to life in a series of videos featuring military personnel and posters that adorned the streets of Kyiv and Vinnytsia.
Bright and outspoken posters answered stereotypical questions and simultaneously debunked myths about sex after injury or trauma: can one be interested in sex, satisfy partners, feel sexy and confident, or does sex after injury always become something serious and uncomfortable.
In the series of four video clips, we address the military and say that no matter what type of injury you have, you can explore, feel, and enjoy sex. This thought was the leitmotif of our entire Patsany work: from concept and script to shooting and post-production. No matter how you look, no matter how old you are, no matter how long you’ve had a sexual life, no matter what type of injury you have – the main thing is to Love. This phrase became the main message of the flight, because sex is pleasure for everyone.
