Elimination of Sexual Violence in wartime
Gres Todorchuk and Bambuk Production have launched an information campaign in commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in wartime.
Unfortunately, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of cases and stories involving Ukrainians who have been affected by sexual violence. Survivors seldom share their experiences, and even less frequently seek help from specialists.
This information campaign is initiated by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Ukraine and the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
The goal is to draw attention to the issue of sexual violence linked to war and to inform Ukrainians about the possibility of seeking assistance from Centers for Rescued Victims.

— Hi. How are you today?
— Hi. Well, I’m exhausted. I hardly sleep.
— I know where you can seek help.
— The thought of having to talk about it all over again and relive everything… What if it’s my fault?
— It’s not your fault. But having support is important.
— I need some time.
— Reach out when you’re ready. Sending you a tight hug. Stay in touch.
— Hugging you back.
Good day. This is the Center for Rescued Survivors. We’re here for you.
