New pages of Ukrainian heroism

PLEON Talan PR agency developed a creative idea for the social campaign «New pages of Ukrainian heroism» for USAID. Women working in fields such as agriculture, entrepreneurship, health care, civil service, humanitarian aid, civil society, energy and journalism tell how their work brings Ukraine closer to victory and contributes to the development of their communities and the country in general.

The campaign is designed to tell about women who today are creating Ukrainian history and making a great contribution to the defense of the state behind the front line.

Within the framework of the project, journalist Anna Kalyuzhna, social activist Hanna Hopko, contemporary art expert Katya Taylor, representative of the «100% Life» charitable foundation Valery Rachynska shared their stories. Energy sector worker Olena Popko, representative of Kyivteploenergo Iryna Zagorodnya, lawyer Khrystyna Kit, IT expert and activist Nataliya Guran, communicator Olga Garbovska also spoke about themselves. Each heroine of the project explained how her activity contributes to the victory of Ukraine, the development of her native community and the entire country. USAID also called for sharing stories about women, whom Ukrainians consider to be modern heroines. To do this, it was necessary to create a post about the heroine in one of the social networks, tag the USAID profile and add the hashtag #womenmakehistory. The most interesting stories are published in social networks on USAID pages.
