7 countries, 7 languages, 6 audiobooks, 6 public organizations, 2 main characters, and one common issue – inclusive communication among teenagers in schools.

As part of the ACT-INCLUSIVE initiative, BRND WGN developed a comic book designed to educate and engage young audiences. The story centers around Mia and her emotional struggles in social interactions, personified as imaginary monsters that represent the feelings of exclusion and misunderstanding in a non-inclusive environment.

The goal was to create a story that both teaches and entertains. The agency chose a diary format to depict Mia’s emotional journey and challenges when communicating with her peers. To make the topic more accessible, monsters were used as a metaphor for the difficulties children experience in non-inclusive spaces.

During development, the team carefully considered details such as the color palette, ensuring accessibility for children with visual impairments. Additionally, audiobook adaptations of the comic were created in seven languages, further expanding its reach and impact.
