Diia educational campaign
Be—it Agency developed the creative idea of an educational campaign on the Diia. Open data platform for the Ministry of Digital Transformation. It was created an educational series and detailed instructions on how to protect yourself from information attacks, how to check volunteers and charities, how to steer clear of sponsoring product manufacturers from Russia, and how open data helps.
The campaign was created with the support of the USAID / UK aid Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services Activity/ TAPAS.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainians have not only faced military aggression but also economic challenges, disinformation, and fraud.
Thus, we decided to provide easily accessible, practical advice on using special services and applications, based on open data, to protect yourself and your loved ones and confront that. Our team developed a creative strategy for the campaign, suggesting the concept of short and clear digital videos with an opinion leader as a host.
We created scripts and produced 11 episodes lasting 2-4 minutes with famous Ukrainian TV presenter Anatolii Anatolich who explained in detail:
- What is open data and why it is important during wartime https://bit.ly/3JUGNvv
- Verification of volunteer and organization integrity https://bit.ly/3M01Jnz
- Detection of the war sponsoring Russian and Belarusian product manufacturers https://bit.ly/42LYpCC
- Cyber and info hygiene during the war https://bit.ly/3M0LvdZ
We used traditional media, digital promotion, and social networks (IG, FB, Youtube) to promote the project. During the first two weeks of the campaign 1.5 million reach was received. The campaign is now in progress.
