KFC ‘Secret Bucket’
idealers agency created a Christmas ad campaign for KFC with ‘Secret Bucket’ to unite Ukrainians. The main idea was that the ‘Secret Bucket’ could be ‘hung up’ at any KFC, and picked up at any other KFC restaurant in Ukraine using the promotional code received via SMS. Thus, every Ukrainian could surprise their loved ones and be a secret Santa for them.
The war scattered Ukrainians all over the country, so idealers offered to unite Ukrainians during the New Year holidays and created the ‘Secret Bucket’ project.

— Are you going to celebrate?
— Of course not. There is a war in the country!
This is what every other answer from our friends and family in Ukraine looked like. Ukrainians have always spent New Year’s holidays in the arms of family and closest friends. But this year the war scattered Ukrainians all over the country. So idealers found a solution to reunite families and friends and give each other a festive mood during Christmas.
The slogan of the campaign is «Tasteful and grateful». After all, everyone could give their loved ones care, a delicious chicken, and a festive mood.
The agency developed SMM strategy for the project and created special mascots used in the video, outdoor and indoor, key visuals, and SMM. In 3 animated videos and 2 radio spots, we explained the campaign’s mechanics in detail.
