Pixel Donate fundraising platform
CF.Digital created the Pixel Donate fundraising platform to collect donations for the restoration of education in Ukraine. On the website, one can find an interactive map of Ukraine, which displays recognizable authentic symbols, figures, and places made from a million small pixel bricks. Each pixel costs 1 dollar, so by purchasing pixels and coloring the map, donors will raise $1,000,000 for rebuilding schools and shelters.
The project was initiated by Ukrainian philanthropists Kyrylo Kukuruza and Yuriy Kalenyuk, who are themselves parents of schoolchildren and for whom the issue of education in Ukraine is equally painful.
The project team collects donations for the needs of the partner international charitable foundation savED, which restores access to education in communities affected by the war. It is currently operating in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions. The foundation was established in 2022 by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (2019-2020) Anna Novosad, together with the GoGlobal educational foundation.
To donate towards the restoration of education, everyone can select and purchase a pixel on the interactive map. By choosing a location on the map and the color of the pixel, all donors together will create a bright, unique map of Ukraine. Each donation made will accelerate the reconstruction of safe educational spaces, thereby helping to grow a conscious and educated youth who will rebuild our country.
