Packaging design for flour
Bloom Büro developed packaging design for flour for the company Cozy Cuisine. The product was planned to be introduced in three markets: Germany, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, with the prospect of expanding to other European countries. Therefore, the task was to create a neutral design, without attaching to the ethnic motifs of any particular culture, which at the same time would differentiate among traditional packagings and focus on the product.
Cozy Cuisine is a company engaged in the production and distribution of everyday products. The brand has representations in Ukraine, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Romania, and its products are present on the shelves of well-known European retailers.
The task was to create packaging design for a line of flour. The product was planned to be introduced in three markets: Germany, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, with the perspective of expanding to other European countries.
Thus, we had to create a neutral design, without tying it to the ethnomotifs of any particular culture, which at the same time would differentiate among traditional packaging and emphasize the product.
In our range, there were two types of flour: 450 (coarse grind – for baking cookies, cakes, croissants, etc.) and 405 (soft wheat flour of medium grind for airy muffins and cakes). Both positions needed to be well differentiated and clearly communicate with the consumer about the purpose of the product.
Therefore, we made a two-level differentiation: through color and the image of the finished product that can be prepared with each type of flour.
