Video as part of the «Break the circle» campaign
Postmen created a video for the «Break the circle» campaign by UNFPA Ukraine to assist victims of domestic violence. With the onset of the full-scale war, the risk of domestic and gender-based violence significantly increased. This is tied to rapid changes, heightened psycho-emotional stress, uncertainty, concerns about the future, forced relocations, or restricted movement. At the same time, victims tend to downplay their personal safety amid broader national challenges, believing that seeking help against violence might not be a priority right now.
However, the war forces a reevaluation of beliefs, priorities, and a deeper appreciation for life, freedom, peace, and safety.
Together with the new wave of the «Break the circle» educational campaign by UNFPA Ukraine, Postmen sought to communicate to Ukrainians that now is the time for transformation, new ideas, and changing behaviors and habits that allow people to build the life they desire, rather than the one imposed by an abuser.
As part of this campaign, the agency developed a concept and activity plan to help victims break the cycle of violence in our country.
