A campaign about soldiers rescuing animals during the war

The creative community Yankov Club developed a social advertising campaign for the charitable foundation UAnimals titled «Helping the Army is Basic. Helping Animals is Humanity». The campaign is dedicated to Ukrainian soldiers who have rescued animals from the war.

As part of the campaign, the stories of eight soldiers who saved animals from conflict zones are shared:

— Karina Yarosh rescued a pregnant dog named Mina in Lyman.

— Maksym Pankevych saved a dog named Chasik from the city of Chasiv Yar.

— Mykola Bilokur rescued a dog with two puppies and two kittens.

— Mykhailo Volok helped save puppies from the Kherson direction.

— Nazar Appolonov saved an injured cat in Inhulets, Kherson region.

— Oleksandr Lyashuk treated a seagull with a broken wing.

— Oleksandr Sydoruk came to the aid of an abandoned cow in a village near Bakhmut.

— Oleksandr Romashko rescued over 30 animals.

Each story is accompanied by a comment from the heroes, such as: «Don’t be afraid to take responsibility», «It hurts to see animals suffering in conflict zones», or «We help those who cannot save themselves».

The goal of the campaign is to highlight the example of soldiers who, despite the challenging circumstances on the frontlines, find the time and strength to help animals.
